Subscriptions and Free Trials

Plans Are Per Device Type
Alpaca has a separate plan for each kind of device:
- iPhone & iPad — One plan covers the Apple devices signed in to the same Apple Account. Choose Annual, or Annual Family if you'd like to share it through Apple Family Sharing.
- Android — The Annual plan, through Google Play.
- Mac — A separate Mac plan.
A plan for one kind of device does not unlock another. For example, a Mac subscription does not cover Android. See Pricing for current plans and prices in your region.

Free Trials
- Mac — 14-day free trial
- iPhone & iPad — 7-day free trial, then the plan renews yearly
- Android — 7-day free trial for a new account, with no card needed, then the plan renews yearly
To avoid being charged, cancel before the trial ends.
Restore a Purchase
- iPhone & iPad — Tap Restore Purchases on the subscription screen, or in Settings › Subscription in the Alpaca app.
- Android — Your subscription follows your Google account automatically. Reinstall Alpaca, sign in, and your plan is picked up — there is no restore button to tap.
Invite Codes
Have an invite code? On iPhone and iPad, tap Have an invite code? on the subscription screen or in Settings. On Android, go to Settings › Invite code › Redeem.
Cancel Your Subscription
- iPhone & iPad — Open iOS Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions. You can also tap Manage Subscription in the Alpaca app's Settings.
- Android — Open the Google Play app and go to Payments & subscriptions.
- Mac — Your Mac plan is managed from your Alpaca account. Contact us if you need a hand.
Deleting the Alpaca app does not cancel an App Store or Google Play subscription. Cancel it in iOS Settings or Google Play as described above.
On iPhone and iPad, you never need a subscription to turn protection off.
